PV Snow Sensor for Tracker Systems

The SEVEN Snow Sensor is specifically designed for tracker systems, helping prevent energy losses caused by snow accumulation on solar panels.

The sensor consists of two reference cells: one mirrors the panels and accumulates snow, while the other is heated to remain snow-free. By measuring the radiation difference between these cells, the sensor determines the snow coverage percentage, which directly correlates with energy loss (e.g., 10% snow coverage results in a 10% energy loss).

The SEVEN Snow Sensor enables tracker systems to adjust their position optimally based on snow accumulation, minimizing unnecessary energy loss and maximizing efficiency.
